All new Vastness equipment is protected by a limited warranty, with the following detailed terms:


1. Warranty Periods

Major Components: For components such as the frame, transmission, weldments, transistor control components, traction motor, lift motor, hydraulic pump, charger, wiring harness assembly, hydraulic hoses, power steering components, cylinder packing, bearings, springs, and control cables, the warranty lasts for 15 months or 2,000 operating hours, whichever occurs first. The warranty period commences from the date of the Bill of Lading (B/L). Maintenance Items: Maintenance items, including motor brushes, contact tips, switches, and other non – previously – covered components commonly referred to as “wear – and – tear” parts (excluding tires), are warranted for 6 months or 1,000 operating hours, starting from the B/L date, whichever comes first.



2. Conditions for Warranty Invalidation Improper Use and External Factors:

The warranty is immediately and permanently void if the equipment is subject to blatant misuse, damaged by natural disasters, has a salvage title, or is used in corrosive environments or areas with excessive moisture. Lack of Maintenance Records: In the absence of regular maintenance records documented by an authorized Vastness dealer, the warranty on the equipment is voided.



3. Exclusions from Warranty Coverage Routine Maintenance Items:

The warranty does not cover maintenance items, including but not limited to lubricating greases, oils, filters, minor adjustments, or any items showing signs of neglect, overloading, abuse, accidents, or insufficient maintenance. It is the sole responsibility of the equipment owner to maintain the equipment according to the maintenance schedule recommended by Vastness, as specified in the operator’s manual. Unauthorized Modifications: Any attempt by unauthorized parties to alter, repair, disassemble, or add extra components or devices to the truck without explicit written permission from Vastness will render the warranty on any part or the entire equipment void. The only valid warranty service is the removal of defective parts and replacement with parts supplied by Vastness. Third – Party Batteries and Chargers: Industrial batteries and chargers not regularly supplied by Vastness are covered under the terms provided by their respective manufacturers.



4. Warranty Application Requirements Registration:

To be eligible for warranty service, a warranty registration and installation form must be completed and submitted to Vastness. Initial Use: For optimal service from an authorized Vastness dealer, it is highly recommended that users thoroughly read the operating and maintenance sections of the operator’s manual before first using the equipment.



5. Extended Warranty Options Customers may have the opportunity to purchase full coverage or additional protection plans for an extended period of up to 2 years. For more information regarding these options, please contact an authorized Vastness dealer.



6. Liability Limitation Vastness shall not be held responsible or liable for any incidental, consequential, or special damages, nor for loss of profit, or damage to trade or business arising from the use of the equipment.
